Privacy Policy

Silvio Hermes Gmail is a personal-use assistant for the owner of silvio.assistant@gmail.com. It is not offered as a service for the general public.

Google data accessed

With the account owner's Google OAuth permission, the app can read Gmail messages, threads, labels and settings; compose and send email; and modify message state and labels. It uses that access to respond to the owner's mailbox requests and to show the mailbox in the Hermes Gmail interface.

How the data is used and shared

Gmail data is used to perform the owner's requested email tasks. When the owner asks the Hermes assistant to analyze or draft from email, relevant content may be sent to the AI model provider configured for that Hermes session to generate a response. This app does not sell Gmail data or use it for advertising. It does not grant access to another Google account without that account's own OAuth authorization.

Storage and retention

OAuth client credentials and the account's authorization token are stored in the owner's Hermes environment. Email content used in an assistant conversation may be retained in that conversation's history and in the owner's system backups, according to the owner's configuration and retention practices. The app does not operate a separate public mailbox database.

Security and control

Local OAuth credential files are restricted to the owner account. The owner can revoke this app's Google access in Google Account permissions and remove the local authorization token. Revocation stops future API access but does not automatically erase prior conversation history or backups.
